Gabriela Flores is a Registered Nurse who works with Dr. Kassar and his providers to coordinate infusions for a variety of patients in our ambulatory infusion center. She works closely with many patients that require infusion treatments on a weekly or monthly basis. Gabriela began her nursing career in Hospice in 2016 and from there began working in a medical/surgical unit for adult and pediatric patients until 2018. While working with a large and diverse population of patients, Gabriela believes nursing is not just a job. Being a professional nurse means the patients in your care must be able to trust you, it means being up to date with best practice. It also means treating your patients and colleagues with dignity, kindness, respect and compassion. As an infusion nurse for a large population of patients with chronic and lifelong diseases, Gabriela focuses on helping patients better understand their disease and treatment options as well as assisting with treatment initiation and management. Gabriela is PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified, BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and has been trained on multiple Monoclonal antibody infusions for long term treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and other diseases as well.
